About The Stormwatch Lighthouse
On a remote rocky headland, the lighthouse keeper's room keeps a single lamp burning through an Atlantic storm. Rain streams down the old windows, waves break white against the dark rocks and low cloud hides the horizon. Warm, sparse maritime ambient for shelter, solitude and long, steady focus.
A worn wooden desk, a brass lamp, a mug, a leather notebook and an old ship's compass sit beneath the windows of the keeper's room. Outside, an Atlantic storm sweeps in: rain streams down the glass, dark waves break white against the rocks of the headland and low cloud presses on the last light of the horizon.
Warm sustained pads, sparse felt piano and restrained bowed strings move slowly beneath a steady bed of rain, wind and distant surf. The storm is enveloping rather than loud: this is a place of shelter, solitude and endurance, made for long nights of focused work, reading or rest.
