The Clockwork Observatory

A Victorian-inspired observatory of brass telescopes, turning gears and endless night sky.

About The Clockwork Observatory

Beneath an open dome, a great brass telescope points at the stars. Gears turn slowly in the walls, orreries track the planets, and star charts cover the desk in warm lamplight. Atmospheric neoclassical piano and strings, with the soft tick of clockwork, for curious minds and long nights of invention.

Beneath an open dome, a great brass telescope points at the night sky. Gears turn slowly in the walls, an orrery tracks the planets on the desk, and star charts lie under warm lamplight. Through the slit in the dome, the stars wheel past in silence.

Atmospheric neoclassical music fills the room, with piano, gentle strings and the soft, layered ticking of clockwork woven in as rhythm. It has a quiet sense of curiosity and invention, for creative work, engineering, study and the long nights when ideas are just within reach.
