A dimly lit observation deck on a long-haul spacecraft. Instrument panels glow softly, a holographic display turns slowly, and beyond the panoramic window stars, planets and nebulae drift past. Warm synthesizer pads and the low hum of the ship keep you company on a journey with nowhere to be but here.

The workstation sits at the front of a long-haul research vessel. A curved console glows cyan and amber, a holographic orbit map turns without hurry, and the panoramic window holds a violet nebula that never quite seems to move. Out here there is nowhere to be and nothing to interrupt you.

The music is deep space ambient: warm analogue-style synthesizer pads, slow harmonic shifts and, now and then, a soft filtered arpeggio. Underneath runs the ship itself, a steady hum of life support and air. It is made for long sessions of code, study or writing, when you want to feel both sheltered and very far away.
